JOSIE + TYLER

This surprise engagement in Rancho Palos Verdes, California was nothing short of magical. Tyler planned the perfect moment for Josie, proposing right in front of the lighthouse — a place that holds special meaning since Josie has always loved lighthouses. With the ocean as the backdrop and the iconic structure standing tall behind them, the proposal felt intimate, emotional, and incredibly thoughtful. Watching Josie’s surprise turn into pure joy was such a powerful moment, and being there to quietly document it all made it even more special.

After the proposal, we were treated to a private tour of the lighthouse, where Tyler and Josie were able to explore inside and soak in the moment together. Capturing their connection as they wandered through the space, freshly engaged and completely in their own world, was an absolute dream. This was one of those experiences that reminds me why I love what I do — being trusted to document such a meaningful surprise, behind the scenes, is truly an honor I don’t take lightly.
